Special Issue on Mental Health Management: COVID-19 Outbreak

Introduction

The novel coronavirus was unidentified before the outbreak in 2019 in Wuhan, China. It is not identified in humans previously. Now it has turned into a worldwide pandemic infectious disease. The situation is stressful for people. Fear and anxiety about a disease can cause strong emotions in adults as well as children. The ill-effects of COVID-19 is now not only limited to our community but are visible at a global level.

Topics

“Mental Health Management: COVID-19 Outbreak” is a global novel scientific topic which is associated with the mental health condition, stress, fear, and anxiety of individuals in the current situation of pandemic coronavirus.

This special issue is aimed to furnish an opportunity for researchers/scholars/academicians to present their scientific work in the emerging world of a novel coronavirus, mental health conditions of older people and people with chronic diseases who are at higher risk for COVID-19, quarantined persons, children, and teens, people like doctors and other health care providers and people who have mental health conditions including problems with substance use.

Journal of Neurology and Experimental Neuroscience invites clinicians, neurologists and other members from the scientific and medical community working in the field of neurology and especially in the mental health management: COVID-19 outbreak to consider submitting research, review manuscript, case report or clinical study of their previous or recent finding.

Authors are requested to go through the article preperation and submission guidelines available on the journal home page before submitting the manuscript. Manuscripts should be submitted online through the journal editorial manager and tracking system: http://www.editorialmanager.com/usg/

All submitted articles will pass through the regular double-blind peer-review process and the decision will be made by the guest editors/reviewers based on the article originality, quality, contribution and relevance to the theme of the special issue.
